The Paralegal Learning Center’s
Certificate Program
curriculum is comprised of eight courses, each of which is one
month in duration. No prior legal training or knowledge is required
for admission into the Certificate Program. Our
curriculum will provide you with a solid foundation of legal
concepts and principles in the most important fields of law
today.
The curriculum is designed with one goal in
mind: prepare you for your working career. The vast majority
of jobs for new paralegals are in the areas of litigation,
corporate, real estate, personal injury/torts and trust and
estates – these are the areas on which we will focus.
Unlike many undergraduate programs, The PLC Certificate Program
is designed to bring you and your new skills “to market”
quickly.
The textbooks that we use are from West / Thomson
Learning publishers. These proven texts are the same ones
that are used in many college and professional schools throughout
the country, and are regarded as among the finest available
for paralegal training.
